MISSION

The Workforce Development Committee is dedicated to creating a plan that illustrates ways to ensure a just transition to a greener society. It is important that as we advocate for the closure of entities that produce greenhouse gasses, we are aware of the jobs that will be lost, and most importantly, that we are forward-thinking in how we will partner with those industries to reduce or negate such impact of job loss.

Shahnti Brook

Shahnti is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer bringing over twenty years of experience developing and producing popular variety/entertainment, news, and live shows for prominent TV and digital media networks including NBC, PBS, and Otter Media. Shahnti has booked, interviewed, and/or coached over 10,000 celebrities and guided the careers and brands of some of the world’s top influencers.

Shahnti volunteers her time with the Producers Guild of America of which she has been a proud member since 2005. In 2018 she was trained as a Climate Reality Leader by Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project. Shahnti works as part of the PGA’s Steering Committee for GreenProductionGuide.com and has been devoted to PGA Green since its start. She lives in Granada Hills with her husband and her two Teacup Maltese.
