MISSION
The Plastic Pollution Reduction/Zero Waste Committee aims to raise awareness and provide solutions for the exorbitant amount of plastic that contaminates the city of Los Angeles. The committee holds beach clean-ups, implements legislative policy and works with organizations in the Los Angeles area to not only remove plastic but stop it at the source. Lendi Slover, Co-Chair, Plastic Pollution Reduction Committee
LENDI SLOVER
Lendi Slover is the Co-Chair of the plastic pollution sub-committee. She joined the Climate Reality family after her 2017 Seattle training. She has since been a mentor and active member of the LA chapter. She is passionate about eliminating plastic pollution and works towards implementing a zero waste community. When she's not picking up trash on the beach or attending a climate march, she is an executive producer of branded content. She has filmed spots for brands such as Budweiser, Columbia, Adidas, Oakley and much more! Her ultimate passion is combining her love of film and Mother Earth to make environmentally impactful videos.
