CO-HOST: Carol ‘Ck’ Kravetz
Activist Carol ‘Ck’ Kravetz trained 2013 Chicago and gives climate presentations all over the Los Angeles basin; to curious adults, elementary school children 7-13 years old, high school and college students. She believes demonstrating the facts on how climate change affects us, and what we can do to combat its impacts are an important aspect of the program. Ck has been training individuals since 2012 on what it means to be an organizer, how to incorporate personal stories into activism and how to get new activists ready to meet the challenge of the climate crisis. Carol trained to be a citizen lobbyist in 2014, which has been very rewarding in meeting with legislators on the State and Federal level to move the climate conversation forward. She now trains climate activists to do the same. After so many years in entertainment and her final film project, AMCs “Breaking Bad”, Ck wrote a manual in 2015 on the job she did in the film industry. She now performs, The Production Coordinator; A Production Office Master Class, as a 2-day live seminar, or any other format desired, based on the manual. Carol considers all opportunities to share this invaluable knowledge on climate a gift.
