Green Buildings Committee

The Green Buildings Committee focuses on eliminating greenhouse gas emissions attributable to building construction and operation. By some measures, buildings are the 3rd largest source of greenhouse gases, after grid electricity and transportation.

This committee educates the public about the benefits of efficient design, modern electric appliances, and other sustainable building technologies, and engages diverse stakeholders to inform and promote good policy at the local and state level.
