The League of Women Voters of the Torrance Area is holding a second annual environmental teach-in on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library in Torrance, California. The event, entitled “Our Power, Our Planet” is an interactive workshop featuring keynote presentations, panel discussions and resources to raise awareness about important environmental issues and learn ways of taking action through volunteerism and advocacy. Following the event, we are inviting representatives from area environmental groups for dinner to discuss how we can collaborate on important environmental issues.
