Several environmental groups, including local chapters of Third Act and 350.org, will commemorate the last day of the national “Summer of Heat” Elders Week by demonstrating against Citibank West L.A. on Saturday, July 13, from 11 am - 1 pm, 10680 W. Pico Blvd, corner of Overland Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90064. Citibank is being targeted because “they are the worst funder of fossil fuel expansion since the Paris Agreement went into effect in 2016 AND they were the second worst funder of dirty energy projects in the world from 2016 to 2023, spending a total of $396.3 billion on coal, oil, and gas.”
