Workshop: How to Electrify Your Home

According to Rewiring America, 42% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions come from kitchen table decisions, like what car to drive and what appliance to buy. One of the most impactful things individuals can do to help confront climate change is to eliminate these emissions by upgrading to electric when it’s time to replace your vehicle or home appliance.

Register now for this free virtual workshop, in which we will discuss the health, comfort, and environmental benefits of upgrading to efficient electric appliances in your house or apartment, and most importantly — how to do it!

We’ll answer your questions and share practical tips about how to plan for your electric appliance upgrade, how to shop for appliances, how to avoid the need for electrical panel upgrades, how to work with landlords, and how to get all the incentives and rebates you are eligible for.

This event will be hosted by the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance and co-sponsored by LA Climate Reality.
