January Chapter Call with Lisa Hart of the LA NCSA

Register today for our first chapter call of 2024 — Learn how you can be a part of the solution to the climate crisis.

We are very excited to have Lisa Hart, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance (LANCSA), as the interview guest in our Climate Movers and Shakers series for this meeting.

Lisa co-founded the LANCSA, which is composed of 74 neighborhood and community councils working to advance sustainability and resilience across the city through advocacy, sharing of best practices, and community action.

Lisa represents the LANCSA on the LA28 Olympics sustainability working group, the South Coast Air Quality Management District Environmental Justice Advisory Group, and the LA County-City Just Transition Task Force.

Lisa has focused on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion for most of her career, with roles at the Los Angeles County Human Relations Commission and City of Hope.

The LANCSA has a grant from LADWP for an exciting new project to use Lisa’s background in environmental psychology to help people transition off gas and electrify their homes.
