Stream the video from our June 2023 chapter meeting below.
Our guest was Robyn Eason, Senior Advisor for Policy and Advocacy, United States Green Building Council, Los Angeles Chapter (USGBC-LA).
Robyn holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. Robyn started her work in sustainability at US Green Building Council in Washington, D.C., helping to launch LEED for Neighborhood Development. Later, she moved to California, where she helped build an award-winning sustainability program for West Hollywood. In addition to her current role at USGBC-LA, Robyn is helping to increase sustainability in the California wine industry.
Robyn shared insights from her background in urban development and sustainability, including the need to communicate in a way that complicated ideas are digestible (as USGBC did successfully with the LEED standard) and discussed ways that we can democratize our climate advocacy.
Robyn also shared insights about sustainable wine production.
