The June 2021 Climate Business Working Group conference is on Monday evening, 6/21, at 8:00 pm Eastern/5:00 pm Pacific. Please join us for a presentation and discussion by Nicole Zinman and Heather Beatty, who will be speaking about developing sustainable business models and the increasing importance of impact investing.

Nicole Zinman is a Director of Investor Relations and Strategic Development with 20+ years of experience growing funding for a variety of initiatives and cultivating strategic relationships with public and private companies, foundations and banking institutions across North America, Mexico and the UK. She’s currently based in Los Angeles as Executive Director of Rilan Consulting Group devising business solutions for small and medium sized businesses. She served on the Board of Young Professionals at the Academy of Sciences and she is active in Muttscouts Animal Rescue and Kidsave Organization. Nicole currently spends her volunteer time shaping impact with Climate Reality on the leadership team of the Climate Business Working Group.

Heather Beatty is senior vice president and head of consultant relations on the Institutional team at First Eagle Investment Management. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing relationships with investment consulting firms globally. Heather is also involved in several national and regional charitable organizations that leverage her skill set to further advance solving the climate change paradigm. She actively speaks to and educates a wide variety of organizations on the benefit of impact investing. She is the co-chair for the LA Climate Business Working Group at Climate Reality and on the vision team for One Blue Ocean. Heather is also involved in the advancement of DE&I and is the founding co-president of Women in Institutional Investments Network (WIIIN), a Los Angeles-based 501c3 that was formed in 2014.
