MISSION

The Speaker Training & Programs Committee exists to help chapter members hone their speaking skills, and to generate as many climate presentations as possible in the Los Angeles area.

A signature program of this committee is the Speaker Training Boot Camp, which is available to all Climate Reality members to hone their skills as speakers, and to help them learn how to deconstruct and rebuild the massive decks from the conferences into relatable, interesting presentations tailored for specific audiences. Everyone is given the opportunity to build their personal story and perform part of a presentation. The technical aspects are also discussed and reviewed. There's much to learn and many ways climate leaders can be involved.
