The League of Women Voters of Torrance Area is hosting an Earth Day Environmental Teach-In on Saturday, April 20, from 11-2 pm at El Camino College. This event will bring together students, educators, environmental organizations, businesses and passionate community members to learn and share our common dedication to environmental health and sustainability.
Featuring short presentations, engaging discussions, games, and networking opportunities, the event will focus on climate solutions in key sectors, including: energy, food, agriculture and land use, transportation, education, and environmental justice. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about career and volunteer opportunities as well as how to advocate for the health of our environment.
